About Youth Outreach Uganda

Youth Outreach is a Jesus Centered initiative in Uganda that looks at transforming the needy young people in the country " Come and Follow me and I will make your Fishers of men". It focuses on the young people because 80% of Uganda's population are young people between the age of 12 to 30 years, 60% are between 16 to 30 years and that makes Uganda the world's leading country with young people. Less attention has been directed to the young people and this has led to increased HIV/AIDS in the country, Corruption, Street Children, Early Marriages, Abortion, Drug Abuse, and all sorts of evil in the country being caused by poor leadership and unemployment.
There fore Youth Outreach Uganda came up with different activities  to involve the young people to so that they are transformed to become today's leaders in Uganda, Africa and the world.  Activities include; Mentoring, youth outreach seminars in school, sensitization about HIV, AIDS, drug abuse, early marriage, abortion and many other evils, Teaching about Jesus as a leader to the youths so that we can have servant leaders in the country that are like Gandhi, Mandela, Jesus, Martin Luther King and many transformational leaders that the world has ever had.
Young people are known for their energy and zeal to reach out and change lives around them. Outreach, a secular non-political network of committed young people offers the right opportunity for young people to do that. Here on this network youth and youth workers from a variety of backgrounds have joined together to reach out to the under privileged in the society. Together, they present a challenge for young people around the globe to reach out to the needy and build a better world.
Vision.
